FAQ
-
What is Regather?
Regather is a mobile app designed to help schools safely track and manage students during field trips and off-campus events. It uses real-time location sharing and group communication to keep everyone connected and accounted for.
-
Is the app available to download yet?
Not yet! Regather is still in development. We're currently building the platform and working with schools to test it through pilot programs before a full public launch.
-
Who is Regather for?
Regather is built for K–12 schools, school districts, private academies, and any organization responsible for taking students off-campus. Teachers, chaperones, and school staff can all benefit from its tracking and safety tools.
-
How does Regather keep student information secure?
Student safety and privacy are our top priorities. The app will use encrypted data, secure user permissions, and limited-access tracking to ensure only authorized users can view location info — all built with school security needs in mind.
-
Can our school join a pilot program?
Yes! We’re currently accepting a limited number of schools to participate in pilot testing. If you're interested, please contact us or fill out the pilot application form on our site in the Schools page.

Who’s behind Regather?
Regather was co-founded by Sam Solis and Kiara Hall — two student entrepreneurs who saw a real need for better student safety during school trips. After experiencing the chaos of crowded public spaces during a summer trip to D.C., they began developing Regather as a smarter, tech-powered solution to keep student groups connected and accounted for.
